Overnight Nature Immersion

Nature is without a doubt one of our biggest allies in the process of regulating our nervous systems and improving our mental health.

Step away from the noise of everyday life and into the healing power of nature. Our Overnight Nature Immersion offers you a calm, supported space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect—with yourself and the natural world.

Whether it’s sitting by a campfire, walking through a forest, or swimming in the ocean, time in nature helps regulate the nervous system and restore a sense of inner balance. This experience is designed to soothe, inspire, and gently support your wellbeing and personal growth.

You'll be guided through your journey where we explore your intentions and goals at your own pace and with the support you need.

We provide all the equipment to ensure maximum comfort.

This is an experience of coming back to your innate nature + the simplicity of being in your body and on the land to rest, reconnect + recharge.

What to expect

Each Nature Immersion is tailored to your interests and abilities, and may include:

  • Coastal or forest walks (accessible for all mobilities)
  • Ocean swims
  • Surf lesson
  • Snorkelling
  • Guided meditation & tea ceremony
  • Campfire cooking & music
  • Reflection time and goal setting

Northern NSW/ Southern QLD
Pick up available within 200km of Byron Bay and from the Gold Coast, Brisbane or Ballina Airport.

 

Duration:

Minimum 1 night / 2 days
Recommended 2+ nights.

I’m Chris

Your Nature Immersion Guide

I have always had a natural interest in the field of mental health, healing and wellbeing. I studied medical science in my early 20’s and then went on to complete a diploma of counseling. I have worked with over 70+ participants as a support worker and counselor and faced my own challenges with mental health and anxiety. I feel that going through those challenges has given me greater capacity to relate and have empathy for those passing through challenging times.

One of my greatest joys and resources is camping and spending time close to nature. I have seen that healing and self understanding doesn’t always happen for people in a clinical air-conditioned room in the city but around the fire or by the ocean with the influence of the natural world.

I have also worked as a surf coach for a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre, where I saw nature support and soothe people in their process of healing.

I currently live with my partner in the Byron hinterland and am completing further university studies as a therapist.
