At Empower Kollective, we believe a strong relationship with your support worker is key to meaningful progress. That’s why we prioritise intentional matching.

Trust, comfort, and aligned communication styles create the foundation for effective support. When personalities and approaches click, you feel seen, heard, and empowered. A good match fosters motivation, while a mismatch can hold you back.

Our support workers are carefully chosen through a thorough onboarding process. Each brings real-life experience, professional training, and a commitment to personal growth. Many also draw from therapeutic, creative, somatic, and holistic practices.

We’re here to support your journey with connection, care, and transformation, starting with the right person by your side.

Your Support Worker Match

Before your first shift, you'll receive a profile of your support worker—including their background, values, and approach, so you feel informed and comfortable from the start.

A dedicated 3-hour Preparation Shift follows, giving you time to connect in person, build rapport, and explore your support plan and goals together.

GOAL + OBJECTIVE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (GOMS)

How GOMS Supports You:
  • REAL-TIME TRACKING: Stay informed and adjust goals as needed.
  • TRANSPARENT DELIVERY: Clear progress builds trust and alignment.
  • FOCUSED SUPPORT: Keeps your team accountable and goal-oriented.

We carefully match you with a support worker whose experience, values, and personality align with your support needs. You’ll receive a short introduction and bio to review, and then begin with a 2–3 week trial to ensure it feels like the right fit. If you’re happy, they continue with you in an ongoing arrangement.

A new chapter begins!

After your first month of support - once you’ve settled in and built rapport with your worker - we begin your Empowerment Planning.

This is where we explore what supports your wellbeing, what empowers you, and what you want more of in your life, building on the foundations already in place. Together, we map out clear goals and next steps that honour your pace while strengthening confidence, independence, and connection.
